Desegregating Carolina: McKissick vs. Carmichael
Harvey Beech, James Lassiter, J. Kenneth Lee, Floyd McKissick, and James Robert Walker enrolled in the UNC School of Law in 1951, following a court order that said the Law School must admit Black students.
