    2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
    - As fall birds start appearing, this is the perfect time to learn more about our feathered friends. We'll read a story about birds, make our own bird feeders, and try our hands at constructing nests. Please register online here.
  • Salamanders!

    2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
    - Did you know there are more species of salamanders in NC than in any other state? Join TLC at the Chapel Hill Library as we learn about these fascinating creatures. We'll read salamander stories, learn tricks for finding and protecting salamanders in our own neighborhoods, and make salamander slime to take home. This program is perfect for families with children ages 4+. Space is limited! Please register for the program in advance.
  • Wild Valentines
    February 11, 2017

    - Love is in the air! Come celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Triangle Land Conservancy as we make edible “valentines for nature” to hang outside, as well as more conventional nature-inspired valentines for your family and friends. We’ll read stories about love and friendship and learn about the ways that animal mothers and fathers take care of their young. This program is perfect for families with children aged 4+. Meeting Room A. Registration for this program is full!

This program is perfect for families with children aged 4+. Space is limited! Registration for this event is now full.

We frequently take photos and videos at our events. Here's what we do with them.
