Pearls of Lutra by Brian Jacques
star star star star star
This compelling novel puts you on the edge of your seat, on the back of the couch, on the edge of your seat and the into a comfortable seated position. Brian once again puts you in the hearts and minds of the kind, and then avenging Abbey beasts. He also helps you along the way to fiercely hating Ublaz Mad Eyes and his warriors. This is what writing is all about. I recommend it for all lovers of literature.

star star star star star
The Quillan Games is the seventh book in the Pendragon series. In this book Pendragon travels to Quillan after receiving an invitation to play in the games there. Unfortunately these games turn out to be games of life and death. The action was great and the characters interacted well together. This is the best installment in the Pendragon series to date!

Perfect by Natasha Friend

This book is about a girl named Isabelle, who is 13 years old. Her father has just died, sending her family's life into a mourning tornado of emotions, changing for worse everyone who is caught up in it. Isabelle is bulimic, and after her sister April finds out and tells her mom, Isabelle is forced to join the Group, a group for helping girls with eating disorders. Isabelle's role model and the most popular girl in school, Ashley Barnum, is in the Group, and as Isabelle comes to know her, she realizes that what you see on the outside can be very different than from what you find on the inside. This story is about true friendship and family values, about facing the past and having the courage to face the future with what it brings.

Pish Posh by Ellen Potter
star star star star star
This book is about a girl named Clara who has extremely rich parents and an important job. She has worn the same simple black dress since she was a baby (in different sizes of course), and every night eats at the Pish Posh resteraunt, which her father owns. Clara watches as the most important people in New York City eat, and she decides who she will ask to leave the restaurant at the end of the meal. But Clara's tidy little world is turned around as she discovers a secret that goes way back. With a help of a new friend, Clara discovers the secrets of a very strange mystery. This book is full of excitement, adventures, and a little bit of craziness. I highly reccommend this book!!

Princess on the Brink by Meg Cabot
star star star star
While I usually love anything written by Meg Cabot, this book has somewhat diminished my love of the series. In this volume, Mia faces relationship troubles the likes of which she has never seen. I don't want to say too much, but if you are a fan of Michael and Mia, then I would NOT recommend that you read this book. I wish I hadn't.
