Thanks to the generous support of the Chapel Hill Public Library Foundation, the Library is providing a new service that offers live, one-to-one help from certified tutors online.
Just click the link above or the Tutor.com logo to the left. Enter your Library card barcode number and PIN to log on to this free service, from anywhere you have internet.
Students of all ages and job seekers can find the help they need by visiting Tutor.com. It has a network of over 2,000 certified tutors as well as career specialists who are ready to help.

Students in grades K-12, entry level college and adult learners can receive specialized one-to-one tutoring help in the areas of math, science, English, social studies and writing. Professional tutors are available online from Noon to Midnight through any internet-enabled computer or mobile device. Receive one-to-one, real-time assistance with your job search. Online tutors are available to help navigate online job sites, complete applications, write/review resumes and cover letters and even practice for an interview. The Skills Center Resource Library offers Noon to Midnight access to thousands of resources including study guides, worksheets, videos and more in math, science, social studies, English, resume writing, GED prep, citizenship exam prep and more.
