How Are We Doing?
The Town of Chapel Hill recently completed a survey of residents about their perceptions of Town services. The statistically valid survey was mailed to 2,000 randomly selected Chapel Hill households. A telephone survey was conducted as a follow-up to the mailed survey.
Of the 607 residents who completed the survey (a 31 percent response rate):
• 91 % were satisfied with the quality of assistance provided by the Town’s library staff.
• 86 % were satisfied with the overall quality of library services.
• 85 % were satisfied with access to library facilities and services.
• 85 % were satisfied with the quality of reference services.
• 85 % were satisfied with the quality of children’s programs.
• 90 % are satisfied with the quality of life in Chapel Hill.
• Comparing 2011 to 2009 survey results, satisfaction ratings for the Town went up in nearly every category.
