Welcome to the Teen Room

Teens! Whether you want to hang out with friends, work on a project, get creative, read a book, or just chill, this is your space. We’ve got:

  • A dedicated room just for teens (ages 13–18)
  • A great selection of books and graphic novels
  • Computers and research tools, plus puzzles, crafts & games
  • Teen events and activities happening all the time
  • Helpful staff here for you

Queer Comics Club for teens graphic

Queer comics club

Do you love Heartstopper? Are there other LGBTQIA+ graphic novels you love, and want to discuss? Join CHPL librarians in a monthly graphic novel book club for teens that centers queer stories and voices. Each month we'll have a group of graphic novels to choose from. Read one (or more) and join us for an evening of chatting, fun, and snacks!

Calling all teen gamers! Join us at the library to play on our Wii U and PS4 consoles, or bring your own favorite video games to share with friends. Whether you're a Mario Kart master or just looking to try something new, there's something for everyone. Come hang out, make new friends, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Celebrate 20 years of Twilight with an evening of trivia, treats, and team spirit. Whether you're a teen, an adult, or eternally seventeen, this is your chance to show off your vampire, werewolf, and Forks, WA knowledge.

Enjoy nonalcoholic drinks and Twilight-themed snacks, and join us for a night of fun, sparkles, and immortal bragging rights!

We’re going on an adventure! Join us for a magical, hobbit-inspired hike through “Middle Earth” (Pritchard Park). We’ll keep watch for Ringwraiths, Orcs, spiders, and dragons while we traverse a one-mile loop.
