Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the library! Volunteer positions range from long-term regular work to occasional event support, from shelving in the stacks to digging in the garden. Materials Shelver
Shelve all sorts of books and media in the stacks, keeping the library collection organized. Shelvers work a 2-hour shift every week.
Event Support
From set up to tear down, event assistants help library events and programs run smoothly.
Garden Corps
Help us keep our native plants in Pritchard Park watered and weeded, healthy and happy.
Workday Volunteer
Grab your gloves and pitch in one morning a month to improve our Pritchard Park ecosystem.
Collections Assistant
Prepare new books to go on the shelves, repair damaged books, and sort withdrawn library materials. (We are not currently accepting applications for this position)
Eco Monitor
Take pictures, count critters, contribute to scientific knowledge, and support environmental education. (We are not currently accepting applications for this position)
