Eco Monitor

Take pictures, count critters, contribute to scientific knowledge, and support environmental education.

Responsibilities 

• Collect data about the world in our backyard – and help library visitors do the same
• Work during regularly scheduled all-ages citizen science programs

Requirements

• Curiosity and attention to detail 
• Work independently or in tandem with another volunteer under the guidance of library staff 
• Minimum commitment of 5-6 hours per month 
• Familiarity with using your smartphone to take and share photos
• Ages 18 and up
